If you bought the car at a car yard didn't you get a warrantee with it ? I would have taken it straight back to them.

For a used car yard there is no warranty and they tell you that upfront. You can ask them to fix something for the car before you buy it from them and they can refuse to do this. Luckily there is a Warranty on the car from the Car yard complex and we upgraded it, so hopefully not only will I get back some of the cash I paid for the warranty but some of the repair costs as well.
Dad was quite enamored with the car, but I think he is over it now, as of today, we still don't have it back and Dad was so desperately looking forward to going to one of his Doofs in it 2 weekends ago.
