Seriously; thank you so much - I was so worried about posting it because I'm a little terrible at writing but I love Lestrade so I thought I'd try my hand at writing something and oh dear, I'm rambling now. I'm glad you posted this here. I don't look at sherlockbbc often enough to see all the fic; most of it ends up buried in just hours

Thank you. I think this is maybe the first or the second time that I've written in second-person POV - I generally find it a bit odd, but I was trying and trying to write something and the first sentence just appeared, I suppose. About 2000 words in, I was regretting going with that sentence, heh. In terms of the emotion behind the sentences, I wanted to give a little bit of back-story to Lestrade; he's often more than a little downplayed in both fanfiction and canon

Thank you! I originally had Sherlock being a little more "...OH. He's ignoring me so now I've got to be all hurt!" before I realised that actually, Sherlock would follow Lestrade just to annoy him. He'd be the worst person to live with ever, hah!
