WTF?

I just got informed by pern_dragon that MTV decided to remake The Rocky Horror Picture Show. Yes, you read right. New RHPS, new actors and new songs!!! That's just the least in a series of traumatic decisions MTV made and they have got to be stopped.

To vote against the remake go here: here and sign the official petition to stop this insanity.

It's high time someone remade Rocky Horror, but MTV are exactly the wrong people to do it.

Personally, I'd like to see the Torchwood team cast as Frank and the gang. They've got the pipes to do it, too!

GDL as Frank (deep dark voice, and just take a moment to imagine GDL's mouth lipsticked. mmmm)
The Barrowman as Rocky (cause he can so do pretty and dumb)

Okay, honestly, you just cracked me up.

I think GDL as Rocky for he's ICandy.
The Barrowman as Frank 'cause he would wear drag like jewelry and he can sing. After GDL's rap I'm not so sure about him singing. ^___^

Barrowman would RULE as Frank. But he's tenor, and I kinda think Frank ought to be a darker voice. Meh, I'm not fussy either way.

GDL actually can sing. Um, sorta. He has a band, called Blue Gillespie. They're not that great. Here, have a listen, they're covering a Doors song.

Heh. Nice discussion. I would love to see JB as Frank, he would rule the world - but the prob with MTew is that they don't want to revive it but to remake it.

I've seen a few vids of Blue Gillespie and yes, GDL can "sing" but he can't really sing, you know what I mean? That's why he would be great as Rocky, standing there looking good and almost never singing.

But both of them together on a stage, "dabbling"... *siiigh* Yes, I would pay handsomely to see that.
