no, i dont think we will be in touch w/ the same ppl in 5 yrs, some yes, but most no. And it doesnt really bother me. I mean, im not in touch w/ the same ppl i was 5 yrs ago, and I dont have any huge regrets. It just lasts, or it doesnt, you cant really worry about it in the meantime.

in 5 years, we probably won't even BE the same people. your friends should match who you are. it's like growing taller but trying to wear the same clothes. don't do it. unless it's like a scarf or a watch. some friends are timeless.

you and your universal questioning of human nature. it's times like these i doubt your electrical engineering instincts. that and the time you couldn't tell me how a power outlet worked.
