Reviews and such

Okay, so it's been a year since I've even touched "Novocain for the Ninja Soul". I've been trying to make it a point to finishing it and more importantly, to finish it in the best way I can. I have to say this fic means a lot to me, fueled by a lot of things that are apart of me. So in essence, this fic is my brainchild and its value is way above ( Read more... )

I personally like the way you write. Stories that all of a sudden put the pairing couples together out of the blue with no past, or back story seem boring to me.

I've read most of your stories and believe me, They're awesome. If you need a whole year to post an amazing chapter, okay.

I'll wait because its totally worth it.

Hihi... I know this posting of yours is old but what you have written strikes a chord. I just want to finish posting my stories on FF.net sometimes but I feel depressed afterwards especially after I see 0 reviews. I keep wondering whether I am such a lousy author so I went to look for a beta reader to help me out. Haha... In the meantime, I googled about this and heard that it is quite a common phenomenon.

Nice meeting you (indirectly)! XD

i'm sure a lot of other authors feel like we do. on that note, you googled the subject of how people don't review--and it's a common phenomenon? that part wasn't really clear and i'd like to know :) what's a "common phenomenon" to me is how the most awful fanfics get all the kudos (even the ones with bad lemon--nothing is worse than bad smut fic).

is your author name on fanfiction.net the same as your handle on lj (defangbasilica)? i'd like to check out your fics too :D

Hi Mikami!

Nice to hear from you! Haha... totally agree with what you have defined as a "common phenomenon". Well not all the time, there are some good fics on FF.net too and I am happy to see them getting the kudos they deserve. =D

Regarding the "common phenomenon" I referred to in my reply ... I found out that there are quite a number of other authors who are also experiencing and complaining about the same problem. Hence I referred to it as a "common phenomenon". On second thought, not sure if that was an appropriate label though ... Haha =P

Cheers,
DeFang

PS: My author name is sleepypanda on FF.net.
