I adore you. And this. And you already know that, but I'm telling you again and you can't stop me.

There's nothing simple about this show or these characters, and I love that you took on the challenge of trying to flesh out this incredibly intense moment and situation that's still covered in so much damn mystery. I can TOTALLY buy these, as Blake and Kalinda's thought processes and motivations and reactions... that aggression and challenge and hatred and not just a little lust. It's just... intoxicating, the way you present it. YOU'RE SO GOOD AT THIS.

And now that you have a shiny new journal and banner and know what you're doing? Beware my nagface, darling.;)

In conclusion, this fic is amazing, and I love you like burning. The end.

Here via sweetjamielee's heads up, and boy was it a good tip. This is HOT, plus it made me believe that Blake could be complex. The scene where Kalinda investigates his apartment is WONDERFUL; I can just see her carelessly flicking through things and jumping up on his bed.

So yes; epic.

So I was a little hesitant to read this because, quite honestly, that scene left me nauseous and upset and disturbed... But I'm glad I did because you took two characters we don't know much about and brought their inner motivations to life.

I really love what you did with Blake because, as much as we don't know about Kalinda, we know even less about Blake.

He’s trying to hit the right tone, here. Cool, yet truthful; he needs to give to get. Earnest, but not desperate. He needs to know what she knows.
Love that. It seems particularly Blake-y thought. The calculating combined with the need to be controlled... perfect.

Her face stays within an inch of his and he feels the power there, the way two magnets want to snap together on instinct, regardless of their owners’ will.
Such a wonderful observation. They do seem to be drawn together in inexplicable ways.

The lines of one remind her of a ribcage, and she thinks of his, of the sound it made when it met her bat. This made my stomach flip, but brought relief at the same time. She's ( ... )

thank you, my dear. it's such a weird thing to like them in scenes together when i don't really WANT them together. but this show is careful about anything, so blake's gotta be more complex than just evil, right? at least, i hope?
