This has not been my best week of fun-ness. I can't sleep, so I'm getting more and more exhausted, and my poker and bowling have suffered from the lack of sleep. I now know why you shouldn't compete when you're extremely exhausted. I think I might have bowled a sub-140 average for my 3 games this week, which is the worst I've bowled in years. I know that there are always suck outs in poker, but tonight hurt. I played in two tournaments. The first tournament, I had a grand total of 0 hands that won. And when you don't win anything, you don't get any respect, so I couldn't buy the pots either. I did not rake in a single pot. Well, the day of dread is almost upon me. This Sunday, in a mere two days, I will have the house all to myself. Laura will be spending the weeks out in the sweltering heat of Austin, TX and I will be stuck in hell, a.k.a. Bryan/College Station. Well, more poker tonight. And guess what? I got second loser this time! Blinds are 5K-10K, guy next to me calls all of his chips, 40K, with 9-2 offsuit. I have Q-T offsuit. Oh my, what fun tonight will be! I'm getting into my first bowling league since the Spring of 2006. 2 years out of the game. I hope that I can have the same bowling ability, but I know that is impossible. The league plays at Grand Station Entertainment, which is a "Main Event" type place.
