 I really enjoyed Kate Chopin's "Story of an Hour." I'm kind of familiar with her work already-- I read "The Awakening" in high school-- and while her writing is still old style, a bit hard to understand at times, it still has a lovely, flowing feel to it. Yeah the irony is definitely the most prominent literary element of the piece. It stuck out to me more than anything.

I'm trying to write the paper on this story right now and I am having a hard time finding enough to interpret to fill all the pages. I did like the story the best of all the short stories that we have read so far though.
