A few weeks ago I touched on the purpose of overly decorative, maze-like poetry in modern society. Basically, I think poems such as that are done. Kaput. Unpopularity can do damage. WOW! You even posted during Spring Break. I have really had a hard time with the poetry unit. I don't like to analyze it, I just like to read it and take it for face value. Maybe it is laziness but, I don't like trying to figure out what the author was trying to to get across to the reader.
