I've been wanting to do a doll cosplay of Ten or Captain Jack (or both at some point XD), but I've yet to see any mould that would work for either of the two. :( Then again, I never would've imagined this guy as the Eighth Doctor, but it totally works! XD

Thank you! ^^ I did spend some time looking through online catalogues of BJD wigs to try and find the best one for the job. In the end I went for one called Marianne from the Monique range, in ginger brown. Part of me worried that Kotaro wouldn't resemble the Doctor enough facially, but it was a gamble I was prepared to take if I could get Eight's outfit (which just rocks anyway). And I figured that even if the Eighth Doctor cosplay didn't really work out, I could probably get away with saying say he was cosplaying Anne Rice's Armand or Lestat instead!
As it turned out though, everything seemed to work! Kota is so very adaptable when it comes to his looks... kinda like a chameleon! X3

That's really awesome, the doll really blends in with the background :D Do you use an SLR camera to take the photos? i've noticed your photos always looks so sharp and clean~

Hehe, I'm glad you think so! Our decent camera isn't an SLR but it's about as close as you can get to a digital SLR. It's a Fuji Finepix 9500 (9.5 megapixels), so it's quite a hefty piece of kit with plenty of SLR-like settings that you can fiddle with. I mounted it on a tripod while taking Kota's latest photos because it's all to easy to get blurred shots at close range otherwise. It's a really good camera for this sort of thing where you need to take your time setting up and posing shots... not so good for taking round bustling expos for happy-snaps though! ^_~;

I just got my first ever bjd in the post yesterday (an elfdoll standard Red) and I had plans to make him a David Tennant Casanovea outfit, this has TOTALLY inspired me, thank you!
