Just back from Scotland - too busy by half - need to read four novels in oh....a day-and-a-half.

Thirteen nailed - including the excellent Julian Barnes Arthur Conan Doyle adventure 'Arthur and George', Ali Smith's 'The Accidental' and Kazuo Ishiguro's 'Never let me go'.

I'm puffed.

In fact, I'm piffed.

Finished 'Slow Man' by J.M Coatzee earlier this evening. Really excellent.

Took this snap of the girls on the beachhead at Porthmaddog. I liked the way they were just ambling along, seemingly towards the same spot on the shore. Awen was loose at the reins while Ang watched cautiously.
