Er...I've seen that hold true, but not quite in the way you'd think. In Medical Rehab Platoon, there was a guy that couldn't go either way...no training, no going home. So, one night he took his scissors into the bathroom and cut the greek word for freedom into his wrist. A week later he was on his way home...no harm, no foul ;)

I think its fucking bullshit that it would take suicide/suicide notes to be noticed and to be cared about.
