Senior Overnight Retreat
recap of entire retreat [scary that i can remember this much from the retreat]
tues: [if there is anything missing....comment] ^_^
place => St. Gabriel's Retreat House: Shelter Island
sat with erin, chris bopp, catherine and stephanie near the front of the bus and talked about random things on the way to the retreat house along with erin raiding my mp3 player because she told her sister to bring them home
catherine listens to too much rap and erin and i started saying "eww" a lot to her music lol
scared the crap out of stephanie many times during the bus ride
the buses went on a ferry to go to shelter island and i got a lot of nice pics
especially the one of erin and i hugging chris morris because he is deathly afraid of water aww
arrive at the skrewy place
talk to Fr. Leo....that DEFINATELY scared the crap out of me
the little thing about deer ticks in the surrounding areas scared stephanie shitless aww
Fr. Leo is apparently a "crazy cracker" and the ".35 cent rapper" or the "discount rapper"
after that, we went to eat dinner
cleaned up and headed off to the game room where i took lots of pics
played foosball [bopp and i against erin and catherine]
then go back to scary house thingy lol [retreat house]
play a game where we pick an item from a box and then fr. leo told us we had to say why we picked it
i picked a White Cracked Teacup....seriously
i said:
me: hi i'm rob...*people clap*...umm...i picked this cup because it's cracked, and im cracked, but im not white....
^_^;;;;
yay for me being crazy lol
stephanie chose a tennis racket
erin chose a reaaaally small baseball glove
but i forgot what bopp and catherine had...one of them had a tennis racket and the other a frisbee?
after that, we headed off for the game room again YAY
here i play pool with mike burke and have a HORRIBLE day for pool
...i couldnt aim properly...but i got better as i remembered how to aim and stand correctly lol
pool, along with foosball and yelling at the pool balls lol
chris morris had an amazing game against someone....idk who..
but chris had extremely lucky shots and he knew it also lol
but of course a lot of pics
we were told to go back to the house before 12:00am
but we arrived around 11:00pm because we were all tired and stuff
[here is insanity]
chris bopp and i were in 105, while erin and catherine were in 206
i call erin because i tried calling her before and left to go watch card tricks in this little room near the lounge
after a bit of gettin ready for bed,
i call erin and chris morris, jack zider and rob cannella jump in our room
jack and rob jump in bopp's bed saying they want to have hot sex with the boy
morris come back repeatedly stealing my soap and tried to sell it to people in the other rooms
but occasionally brought back the soap lol
morris seems to like our room LOL
he climbed on top of the closet
he climbed in between my bed matresses lol
but as morris was in the bed...kenny moran came in the room
kenny saw the boy and decided to jump on the bed LOL
morris stays in our room for a long time
all the while, im explaining what is goin on to erin and catherine on the phone
morris comes in the room and we figure out 22 spots to hide for MANHUNT
and we actually accompolished to gain 22 spots LOL
and i am describing the hiding spots to erin on the phone still
rob comes in the room and asks how we are doing
he sees me on the phone and i tell him it is erin
rob takes the phone and says to erin she should go to sleep now because he wants to have sex with bopp now lol [or some version of that]
morris finally decides to leave only after bopp tells the boy to leave awww.....BOOOOOOOOOOPP
but as soon as the door closed, morris bursts in and steals my cup from the sink in the room
WTF!?!
LOL
but he did come back and give me my tiny cup back :P
then we FINALLY get to sleep ^_^

around 6:00am...i woke up and so did bopp
took shower and went outside taking nice sunrise pictures
then a few crazy pics in the lounge as well
chris morris was so sleepy that he took his pillow from his room and brought it to the lounge but he left one time and left the pillow in the lounge, so jace zider decided to put chris' pillow outside...it took chris a LONG time to figure out where the pillow was and jack had to go get the pillow LOL
it was dirty but chris didn't care much and just used the clean side
then he moved to the mini stairs to the lounge and slept lol
after all of this and people actually waking up...
everyone went to get breakfast and again i hold the door for everyone
breakfast was eggs, bacon, and french toast
sat at the table with erin, catherine, stephanie, bopp, kenny moran, suzie, and umm......who else?...i can't remember....[im very sorry] :(
i clean up table
we walk to the game room
stephanie and i walk to the lounge to get the cards
steph trips first step walking out of the doors when we go back to the gameroom *pat pat*
chris bopp, stephanie, catherine, erin, and i all sat around a small table and played Bullshit lol
that went on for about 30 min or so
then we all walked back to the lounge
the we went to the chapel to have a "guided meditation"
we all were on the floor, but i kinda drifted asleep and started to snore a bit ^_^;;;
and it was kinda loud also HAHA
after meditation, we left for the lounge again
heard "talks" from Tony and Kate or Katherine?...idk her name...
while we played skrewy games also inbetween their talks
we had to pick 10 things that americans generally fear
my group put as #1 Michael Jackson tied with Fr. Leo hehe
and the other game was where we were supposed to grab a partner [erin and i partnered up] and walk around in a circle and stuff.....and try to find your partner and touch a body part to a part on your partner
i would NEVER have won the last one tho...if erin and i even got that far
"bare feet to bare feet"........
I HAD FREAKIN BOOTS ON + SOCKS......those aren't comming off that fast +_+
after all the talks and the games...the sent us out to have alone time
i was fond of this little field that i could see right out of the lounge because it had like 2 trees to lean on and no one was around.....like perfect solitude
while everyone else was over near someone at least.......i wanted to be alone
and yet......people kept wondering near me......grr
we were "supposed" to only stay out 30 min and when that time is up..we would have heard a loud bell telling people it is time to go in......i had horrifyingly loud music lol...i couldn't have heard any bell but i saw jack zider walkin back and then i noticed everyone else wasn't were they were sitting lol...so i slowly walked back to the lounge...didn't care to walk fast or not.....i just wanted to go to sleep or be alone for a bit longer.......
[of course the picture count rose with the nice environment]
talked a bit more and then we left for the chapel
stephanie and i got happy because we were allowed to burn paper in church lol
everyone was supposed to write something down on the paper
i just wrong "stuff" a lot on the paper and erin wrote" Umm...stuff" lol
went up and burned the paper.....but sr. carrol angerly pointed at me to put it in the bowl thingy
after a while, everyone just went around and talked to people
there is a great pic of everyone sitting in a line
it started by me sitting on stephanie, then i dragged bopp and catherine followed...then rob cannella and more people [erin has pic, but will be on my webshots soon also]
after the paper burning
we had a mini mass and stuff
the best part was that Fr. Leo played Black Eyed Peas: Let's get it started....during mass

wow....and for us recieving the eucharist...
everyone was in a huge circle and fr. leo forgot what he was supposed to recite and needed to go look in the bible...*pat pat*
then when we were done with that...
fr. leo started to say something about a present for us
but he showed us a mini plastic bag and said "here's a dimebag for all of you"
right there i was cracking up hilarious and so did everyone else
it was hilarious
after that all...we headed off to the building to get our bags and loaded up the bus
got on trinity's bus #3 and mrs. o'connell [taller one] was our driver again
talked about crazy ass stories...mainly about bus-related stories and i JUST found out that the bus i ran into during junior year was ERIN'S FREAKIN BUS!!!!!
we stopped by for some food around dinner time...idk what time....cell was kinda dying so i shut it off a bit
it was a freakin journey to get to KFC!
we stopped in the Burger King parking log but we wanted to go to KFC across the street
had to wait an insanely long time just for an opportunity to run over
and after we crossed...erin, stephanie, chris, catherine and i had to climb over a HUUUUUUGE snow hill just to get to KFC
chris and i ran/jumped the snow hill, but the girls had some trouble getting through lol
once there....bit of a long line...but since the bus drivers were here also.....we knew we had more time than they said we had....
we were acting all crazy and insane and erin said that a person who was walking out walked back in...looked at us for a bit...and then walkd back OUT again LOL
aww.....we scared another one ^_^
got all our food and started to head off for the buses again.....this time we actually waited LONGER than the first time we crossed the street
but we rushed the crossing when we saw a red light on one end of the street
[we could only see 1 light lol]
more crazy people talking on bus
mostly quiet because we were tired
and the others in the back were playing some "game" and we didn't want to know what was goin on or know "certain" bit of info from "certain" people.........damn that was creepy
got to school at exactly 7:11pm and people were cheering mrs. o'connell
get stuff from school that we left
say bye to people
