Not so many days ago I was driving home around the time of sunset and only remembered to look up at the sky as the sun was dipping its way to the other side of the world and I saw the clouds littered about like a Dali-esque painting. It was beautiful. I'm glad I looked up ( Read more... )

I once heard that the act of creation helps us get into contact with the divinity within us.
I believe this to be true.

I made myself an underbust corset! *blink* and it works and everything.. I can sew! *gasp*

I don't know if creativity connects with an inner divinity but I do feel that it refocuses ourselves to an energy that is inherently only from within ourselves - and that's a good thing.. to constantly draw from outside yourself seems to mean losing who you are.
