Maybe you've heard about Dreamwidth already, maybe not.

Dreamwidth calls itself a Livejournal fork, it uses the Open Source code of Livejournal, but updates and streamlines it (as far as I can tell ^^), getting rid of unnecessary clutter and not being just a livejournal clone on another server.

ahahha i was lucky in that i saw someone on my flist who is involved with the project give 5 of them away.

so far i'm not able to give out invite codes buuut it's not that long until open beta :D and it does look very promising, hee

Hee, it is interesting, which is why i got an account there but I'll probably still stay on LJ as long as everyone else stays here too ^^.
