Back In The Mood

Feb 08, 2006 00:28

I paced; alone,
Among the dense fog
And crumbling tombstones.

With fear
Of an eternity
Everlasting shattered heart.

Kneeling down
Darkened tears soak my hands.
Scars grew young and bled again.

Then your hand glistened upon my chin
You whispered gently in my ear
"Sshh young one.
Your beauty glows.
With great vibrance.
Let your face be not stained,
By fouled tears.
Let it illuminate.
Like it used to.
When I saw you so distant.
The black sheep of the crowd."

With a sniffle I looked deep within her sparkling eyes.
Wiped one eye standing up.
Asking melodisously.
"How did you find me?
In such a darkened state?"

"From afar gorgeous."
You answer cleasned the darkness around.
Like an angel magnificantly ascending from Heaven.
"I've had my eye on you.
And it's time to set your spirit free."

The clouds began to part.
Brilliantly fortifying around us.
Temptation drawing closer.
Then something sweet filled me.
A gift of God.

My heart was released to be cleansed.
And to be captured again.

With that, you turned around.
And spoke in softened tones.
Spreading your wings.

"I must depart you.
If they catch us.
We will never be forgiven.
An Angel and a Demon cannot be."

You began to slowly drift into the sky.
Only to hear my crys.

"But why miss?
Why must this be?
I've never had this sensation!
Come back to me!"

Then you were gone.

I stumbled home,
Doused in heart-ache.
To find the most beautiful creature at my door.

"It is me,
Your Gaurdian Angel."

With no moment to spare.
I kissed your blissful lips.
And whispered into your ear with anticipation.

"Let us not ruin the moment with non-sense.
You set me free.
And I've returned to what I thought didn't exist.
I love you my Angel."
