SO! I went on vacation. Quite possibly the first vacation in my entire adult life where I didn't either stay home or travel to some holiday-related family function. All of it was with family, though, so it's a baby step. Some day, I'll/we'll go away on our own.

serving suggestion for Blue Cheese Rye: Slice medium thin, create a medium thickness layer of blue cheese crumbles on the top, add garlic powder to taste, toast until the crumbles begin to brown.
