“Take five!” The choreographer yells and Nick gratefully stops dancing and plops down on the floor nest to Howie who is already drinking from his water bottle. They are all totally exhausted but that's nothing new. The new tour starts in little over a week and there has been too much to do to even stop and breath for weeks now.
Nick really hates the last month or so before a new tour. There's meetings and rehearsals and more meetings. Thousands of little stupid details that has to bee agreed upon but first everyone has to discuss to the point where even Kevin hardly cares any more. He wishes this was all over and done with. Touring is stressful, yes. It's exhausting and filled with things they have to do every second but it's so much better then this.
Touring is familiar, he's been doing that for so long it's almost comforting, the rhythm of travelling-interviews-shows. There's also fans everywhere, happy exited fans, and while they can be annoying sometimes mostly he loves it.
Nick gathers his strength and manges to move his head a little to the left to see what Howie Is up to now. Howie is apparently less tired than he is because Howie is not only sitting upright but he's also playing with his water bottle, rolling it between his hands.
“Tired?” Howie asks. Nick is to tired to reply but he manges a glare. Howie just smiles at him. Nick really loves Howie a lot but now is not the time to be smiling at him and his pathetic tiredness.
“When were done here I'll drive you home and we can watch The Return of the Jedi and fall asleep halfway through. Sound good?”
That does sound good and Nick manages not only a smile but also an answering nod. Just then the choreographer yells at them to get back in place and Nick slowly drags himself up of the floor.
He has something nice to look forward to now.
