I finally beat a Wii game this weekend, Rayman: Raving Rabbids. While it’s a fun game, the ending isn’t all that it could be. I’m still glad that I beat it thought, since it seems that I rarely finish anything trivial or unimportant nowadays

/I/ will come back and do this meme. But first I wanted to say: Zelda and System of the World ftw. The latter is not ... what I would call literary genius, but it's so heavy with cool history (why the heck don't we learn all this madness in grade school?) that I thoroughly enjoyed it. And Zelda ... we need not discuss the joys of Zelda.

Personally I'd take FFXII off the list, because it kind of sucks. I've gotten, I dunno, maybe halfway through the game, and it's an effort to work up the motivation to play it. Although I suppose that the siren song of World of Warcraft is partly to blame for that lack of motivation, seriously, it's not a very good game. I'm not used to that from FF, it has betrayed me!

FFXII is the first Final Fantasy I've played (not counting DIrge of Cerebrus) so I really can't compare it to the other games in the series. But as I'm about 70 hours into the game and very close to beating it according to GameFAQs, I'm going to try to finish it up.

But it is a bit of a bear to keep at it (So many side-missions with so little pay off).

That's your introduction to the series?! Oh man. I'd recommend some more classic ones, but they're only really available for the DS or the Gameboy Advance these days. ;) FFX is a solid game, and FFX-2 (although I will admit, it's completely girly.) FFIIV is the fan favorite, I think, but some of it was how much better the graphics were than the previous games, which are laughable now. ;)
