Reporter (I actually got a press pass to an anime convention recently to cover the event and I covered several sports events when I was in high school but I’m not sure it was ever a job. I was certainly never paid for it but the press pass for an anime convention saved me $50)

So where is that write-up on Katsucon 2007 then? :-)

I tried going the grad school route and that didn't work out for me. I'm already accepted into law school so I'll just have to follow up on that.

Hey, one out of two dream jobs isn't bad. And actually, biochemist was a former dream job of mine (although I did say geneticist when I was in middle school but there's a lot of overlap) so it really should be two out of three.

Most fun job I ever had: giving guided historical tours. Decent wages, terrific tips, and I got to bore people with history all day. A blast.

Worst: Retail or washing dishes. Filing all day wasn't a lot of fun, either.

Oh yes, washing dishes. Another job I'm glad I've never had.

The guided tours sounds like fun. Where did you work when you did that?

That was in Boston. Maybe I should do that for a career, instead of standing in front of a class all day.

A pal of mine had a male dream job: he worked for Victoria's Secret. He was only one of their web designers, but still...

Thanks, I'll read it when I get home (I hate that I can't check my e-mail from work). I still need to bug you about meeting and catching up some time.
