I know i'm only like a whole year older than you,but hey man,when you have a list like this,dont look at it like a burden,turn it into a check list.Take one of those things at a time,and work on getting it done,if you can't find motivation in your friends,find it in yourself,think of the future that eric wants,then forge that road through all the negativity,its hard,i feel you man.You are way to young to be so pessimistic,and caring about what other people are doing or how people are "moving on" thats them,they may have parents who were well off,so they dont have to worry about much,i would love not to pay rent,and just focus on school,but i have to play the cards i was dealt,and do the best i myself,am capable of,All you can do is try.
Even if it seems the world is passing you by,you are still young,you just need to get some priorities,sitting down,going online,finding something you really want to do for a living,then pursue it.
