Why thank you, missy, I'm much happy you liked it. :) I'd meant to have something out to welcome you back, but I got it wrong (I kept thinking the end of the month *snork*), but at least it was sort of a welcome back type of thing!
never read Loveless, but I knew a little bit about it--though that probably didn't help with this at all anyway since it only took that one small part
Yeah, just the ears and tail thing, other than that it's nothing like it... though I do recommend it, especially since I know the, er, somewhat disturbing bits won't throw you off too much. ;)

I love all your fics that are set into the early years of Tokio (maybe it's because I have a soft spot for young Nagase with his androgynous looks and his innocent slutiness. The way you convey Gussan's attraction as well as fierce need to protect the kid is very heart-wrenching). And no need to say how fond I am of Leader and Taichi (of course only Leader would still have the ears on !).
All 5 of them are very well drafted here: adorable, funny and at the same time sad and beautiful. I like how you give a quick backdrop for each of them and how the way everyone of them is introduced kind of define them as who they are.
Il also love the neko concept, I could totally picture all of them with a tail and ears at some point (it could have been a potential outfit for them back in the early days ^^).

One of my favorite parts of Loveless is that concept, that they lose their neko ears when they become 'adult', but it's also a little disturbing in context, since the story has sixth graders that are viewed in at least semi-sexual ways by some of said adults... thinking about what it would mean to potentially lose your ears that early is how this whole thing happened, of course ( ... )
