Yes! She's cool, I read her LJ for years but she's friends only now. But it's interesting to see someone who used to be involved with church and now isn't. I've always admired her writing and she just hits the nail on the head with this.
In the last 6 to 7 years I've become more comfortable with being an atheist. It's nice to read it from others.
I don't know much about CS Lewis but I know the christians love him! The singer from Thrice, one of my most fave bands, is a big time christian and CS Lewis fan. I love that band so much but some of their lyrics are so obviously based on scripture and religion. They aren't preachy though, and I love them, I guess that's why I'm cool with it.
I've only read/seen "The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe" which I loved. I see the message....but I can also choose to be oblivious - ya know?
