i got my little Miles. he is kinda little and purple with red. i did find a yellow fish at the back of the display but, well, he just wasn't as pretty. he was really active at the store but now that he's in his little bowl he's not doing much. mostly he hangs out next to little crocadile i got him or hanging out in his little plant. he at least

When I had a betta fish, we had to move some rocks around so we stuck a chopstick in the tank to do so. The fish flared its fins rather nicely. And tried to attack the chopstick. It would also flare its fins if I put my hand right up to the side of the tank nearest it.

i had to move some stuff in there this morning. i used his plant. he tried to eat it. it was kinda funny

Now I don't want to play "mom" but your fish may be less active because of the change in his home. They require very little space and warm, dirty water. Yes, that's right, they hate having a clean home. It's because of where they live naturally, rice paddies. And one last thing, when you do change the water you don't have to buy bottled water. Just get enough tap water and let it set at least one hour, although overnight is best. There are also chemicals you can get to help further neutralize the water but they are unnecessary.

well his tank is already getting dirty but still not much movement. guess at least i haven't killed him yet.
