What kind of gaming restrictions do they have? Certain images not able to be shown or messages not able to be put across? What do we have?

Germany was really strict about any sort of display of swastikas or references to the Third Reich in their games - which is kind of restricting, considering WWII games are some of the most popular titles out there. I'm not sure if that ban still exists, but it did at least during my lifetime. And you've surely heard the battlerage people get up about over video games being too violent or too sexual - even though we have the goriest movies imaginable and hardcore pornography.
