Wrote 1200 words today. The advice about 'setting' really helped from this article: http://kayedacus.com/2009/03/19/writing-descriptions-make-setting-a-character/

I had my characters interact with their environment more. It helped shape the mood, which helped me get back into the game.

Crap. I've just asked myself the one question you never want to hear:

"Why doesn't the hero just do X instead of (the complicated but desired path) Y?"
