I've been whining a lot lately. I hate that. This morning I ran into my friend Victor on the bus, and I heard myself saying how work was slamming me lately, and he mentioned how he had gotten that impression from reading here. Pretty much verbatim, is how I feel about my life. I could paste it in this comment to point out which parts, but I'd just be quoting the whole thing over again.

My job isn't bad. The pay is good and the bennies are good. In fact, they are pretty sweet. Thing is, I think THEY (meaning management) know how this job would pretty much bore the hell out of whomever took it, but it needs to get done, so they threw a whole bunch of money to make sure someone would stick.

Like you, I don't what to whine...but when you say stuff like, "I should point out that this isn't really a bad place to work, it's just that I don't want to do the job in front of me. I have NO passion for it.", that is just friggin' dead on.

Wish I had an anwer, but I don't. So I'll share in sentiment and give you a hug. :-)

one perk of my job is that they are flying me to San Diego on Tuesday, March 15th, and I'll be there until the weekend, so plan on meeting in person so I can collect that hug. I'll e-mail you my contact info and the hotel info etc.. when I know it all.
