Ask me something.

I'm bored today - have tons of work but no ambition to do it. Help me be totally irresponsible and ditch my work to live in LiveJournal land this afternoon.

What is your favorite comic book? (or maybe, comic book line or brand or whatever. I know nothing about comic books!)

this was one of the really hard questions... and I know you didn't think it would be. There were so many ways to read it!

I could have simply chosen my favorite publisher: Marvel, DC, Image, Top Cow, Dark Horse or one of the defunct lines from Comico, First, Aardvark-Vanaheim, gosh there are so many! A very hard question to answer. I think if my purchases were votes, then the answer would have to be Marvel, just on the sheer volume that I buy. I could have narrowed it to a "family" of comics, like the X-Men titles, (including Astonishing XMen, X-Men, Uncanny X-Men, New X-Men: X-Men Academy, Wolverine, Gambit, Rogue, Nightcrawler, District X, Weapon X, Generation X, Ultimate X-Men) the Marvel Heroes titles (like Avengers, Iron Man, Thor, Captain America, Cap and the Falcon, Marvel Team Up), the Batman or Superman or SpiderMan titles, the Fantastic Four titles, there are so many different "groups" of comics like that where you sort of need to read all of the titles to keep up with what's going on ( ... )

I would take him to Europe. I dont' think he's ever been there. Some time in London, because the theatre's great and he's a "Broadway baby", some time in Amsterdam where we could be 'ho's and get all messed up, some time in Paris, cuz it's incredibly romantic and I know 8 words in French, and then the beach - either the Spanish riviera or Mykonos. Either one would do... (that's roughly a week in each place).

this depends on whether it's the last day (and the next day there's no Earth) or if it's just MY last day.

If it's THE last day, I would indulge myself... there would be sex, there would be swimming, there would be confessing things to people who should know how I feel, and making plans for where we meet when we leave here.

If it was my last day, then I would be on a plane to Rhode Island, and so would my sister and her kids, and we'd have dinner at my mom's with all my ex husbands and they would all know how much I love them. There would also be a few phone calls to people who are mentioned in my will, and what I would like them to do to finish some of my work here on Earth.

Things I haven't done yet michael_arnold April 22 2005, 18:41:36 UTC
I haven't gone sky diving. I'm not sure whether or not I will at this point. I'm not really afraid of heights, but I'm not exactly "bird-like", so this might actually be a bad idea. I haven't sailed off into the sunset, but at some point, with the right companions, we'll leave the dock and journey off into the unknown - I started to say that I haven't sailed around the world, but circumnavigating the globe isn't really the goal here, so I revised this. I haven't published the book yet, heck, I haven't transcribed most of the material that I have written in composition books going back over the last 25 years, and I have no idea how it ends.

I like how high you have set your goals!
I hope that you achieve all things!
