Sometimes when I'm walking down the street, I'm just thinking of something else -- something that has just happened, or something that I need to do before I get to where I'm going or so forth. I've definitely been known to walk by people I know & say "hi" as a reflex response, but just keep on going without really even noticing the person. Occasionally, the person will call back out to me, wake me out of my haze, and then I'll realize what I have done, and go back & chat with them.

At least in my case, it's never been personal. If I'm mad at someone for something, I can basically guarantee that they know it!

Ha, sorry, I had to toss that in as it is one of my favorite quotes and I don't get the opportunity to say it often enough.

Actually, I'll tell you what's going on. *looks all professor-like* When men realize that other men are more attractive than themselves, they like to gain distance from those better looking guys so as not to lose out to any potential suitors.
