Aggghhhh once again this pisses me off NO END!
If they have a ramp they are obliged to get you in the taxi as they are contracted as a wheelchair taxi and if its broke they have to fix it within 24 hours! Also now according to the Disabilty Discrimination Act 5 any taxi(not even a disabled one!)has to make reasonable adjustments to their busisness or help the person get around their umm.. in accessabilty ie:the taxi driver lifting the disabled person onto a seat etc(not too dignified but ya know!!)Anyways next time a freaking taxi denys them in it get them to tell them actually its their job and quote DDA5..if they refuse because of a broken ramp get there name off them and a reg number and your liable to sue :D

Wow thanks for bringing this stuff up,really showed me as the little equal rights nerd I really am..eek!
