An Evening of Wandering

I had intended to see Thunderstick at the Roxy Theatre last night, but the performance was sold out. I'm glad for Brad and the rest of the gang that the show is so popular. Too bad about plan C. I ended up seeing Dillinger is Dead - odd film, spectacular ending.

How did you like The Hurt Locker?

It was an excellent character study. Why do some people need to live on the edge? Is it because they're crazy or just stupid? Or, are they the sort of people who take the motto "be all you can be" seriously? If that is the case, is there a tragic side to their dedication? What appeal can mundane life between their tours of duty have for such people? Do they become hooked on a drug called war?
