Oh! And! Father's Day Cards! Can we find a middle ground between 'BEER BEER BEER POO FOOTBALL HA!' and looking like they're for someone's Sugar Daddy? Granted, the ideal Father's Day card for my Dad would pretty much read 'Our relationship is complicated!' or 'Your usual lack of communication makes your recent phone calls very confusing!', but... I've gone for the 'aren't you glad your child is so awesome' sort of one. Does that apply?

Seriously. I went shopping for Father's Day cards and they were all shit. My dad does not like football, or golf, and he does not drink cans of lager. He likes sailing, but all the cards with boats on them had "DADDY" on the top. Why?

If you do start your alternative greetings cards company, can I suggest a Valentine's Day card along the line of "I'm worryingly ambivalent about the state of our relationship but the calendar dictates I must send you a card today" card? I was looking really hard for one of those a few years back...
