I guess the thing for me is that Michael Jackson died for me nearly 20 years ago (Dangerous was the last album I liked, and then he became tabloid mental and made patchy to shit records). I can't stand all the eulogising (of anyone, if a close friend was famous and died I would hate it, too) and...Diana stuff. I can't cope with wall to wall telly and papers about one subject. The original Don't Stop 'Til You Get Enough demo still slays me. Mostly I love Off The Wall and Thriller and could happily bin most of the rest, but it's the JFK dribble I don't want to hear, that makes me not care, not the songs. Massive cultural moment blah.
