The most violent crime committed in the county of Los Angeles this year happened on Christmas Eve about 2 miles from my apartment. Most people in LA don't even know where Covina is because we're just a little city of under 50,000 people located about 20 miles east of downtown. But I love it here. I heard about that, and I can't stop thinking about it! So creepy! I bet you anything there's gonna be a Law & Order based on this that comes out around next xmas.

Oh my God, I hadn't even thought about that! RIPPED FROM THE HEADLINES!!!!!! But yeah, you're totally right. You honestly couldn't even make up stuff this horrible, though.

Lindsey and I didn't even know about it until last night because we've been shut-ins the past couple of days. We went out to dinner on Christmas Eve and drove right by the street where it all went down about 2 hours before it happened! Crazy.

As for tonight I'm down for whatevers. Looks like your lady planned the whole night though... Flore and dancing at Short Stop... that's cool. I should be able to make dancing if not both. What's a Flore? E may meet earlier too but is partying later that night with her other friends.

man. that was the first thing i saw this morning on a news ticker on tv. absolutely disgusting. i'm glad to hear the girl is going to survive. i hadn't heard about the other casualties.
