Did anyone ship Miles/Richard before they actually got some significant screen time together in season 6?

I know some people on my flist did, so when I saw season 6, I figured they must've been so excited, and I was just really pleasantly surprised how their fanon came that much closer to canon.

Nup! For me a big part of the appeal of Michard was having something totally fun to distract me from frustration with the official ending of the show. I had never seen a connection between the characters before.
