*triggers a standing ovation*

I can relate to so much being said here. Is this part of a thesis or your own experience.

For the most part men are wired to think about activities outside the cave, and women are wired to think about things inside the cave.

(for once, no entendres are intended).

In general....

Guys want a relationship that simply works, so they don't have to think about it, and can attend to their hobbies.

Women want to work on the relationship, because relationships (of all varieties) ARE their hobby.

both views are valid and necessary to our existence. Though sometimes irreconcilable.

hey, that's a pretty cool way of looking at it. and true indeed.

some women do make their relationship their 'life' in a sense. that their existence evolves on whether that relationship works or not.

i don't. but i'm ashamed to admit that i do mull about it more than i should. thanks for your insight. :)

I don't just mean a woman's relationship with her man, but relationships in general. Friends, children, husband, parents. Women are much more in tune with relationships.

I'm really glad you posted this, because I was beginning to think that I was the one who was crazy.

Here's one thing I can't stand about women: They never are upfront about what they want. From the beginning of the relationship to the end. And they expect men to be able to read their minds.

haha. no, you are not crazy.

They never are upfront about what they want. From the beginning of the relationship to the end. And they expect men to be able to read their minds.

ugh. i'm putting my hands up on this one. it's ironic. we don't say the things we want to say because we're afraid to lose you. crazy isn't it?

and yeah, why can't your read our minds? you can build a rocket that goes out to space and not analyse our brain and behaviour? what's up with that? are the heavenly bodies out there easier to understand than the heavenly bodies here? :P
