On movies
Since b_1 axed, here 'tis:
1. Total number of films I own on DVD/VHS
Five. Ever since I started travelling, I tend to not buy DVDs/VHS. The ones I do buy, I give away.
2. The last film I bought
Sigh. I don't buy. The last time I bought would have been more than four years ago. :P Do music videos count? 'Coz then it would be Beyonce's Concert in Wembley, UK.
3. The last film I watched
I can't remember (anyone notice the trend here?). On DVD, Bride and Prejudice.
4. Five films I watch often
- "House of Flying Daggers" - my friend lent me her DVD. It's one of the few I got at home.
- "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon" - one of the few DVDs I do own and not given away.
- "Mr. Holland's Opus" - Richard Dreyfuss, guaranteed to make me cry
- "Emma" - the one with Gwyneth, "Little Women" - and I pretend I'm Jo
- "Brown Sugar" - Two words. Taye Diggs. And yeah, just to hear the line "you are the perfect verse to a tight beat". :D
5. five films you like, but wouldn't dare admit to your friends.
Hehehe, like you I have no shame!
- "Bring it on Part 2" - just because it's so stupid compared to the first one!
- "Legally Blonde" - yes, it could happen!
- "Dark Angel" DVD Box set - not a film but sigh, I put this on and pretend I can ride a motorbike like her too.
- not a film but one I keep in the background: "Beyonce's Wembley" concert. Those moves she make for her "Baby Boy" performance? Uh, yeah, I 'try' to do those ones. :P
- "Cruel Intentions" - Ryan Philippe, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Reese, Selma. So many good-looking people. :P
