i think boyshorts, while deserving of a less ludicrous name, are really hot. seriously. and why would you get rid of something that has a functional purpose? are women supposed to get exercise in lacy itchy underclothes? that can't possibly be fun.

(i do confess that i watch "what not to wear" on a decently regular basis. it's kind of horrible to people, but not as much so as other similar programs.)

in any case, don't know when you are returning to the borough, but we will be l-wording it tomorrow night if you'd like to come over. would be good to see you.

i really felt for the basketball player who ended up burning her shorts and sports bras at the end. wasn't it obvious that she was just going to go out and buy more to replace them? clearly she is not going to go play in that crap they made her wear.

argh. bah. it was so absurd. i have to really say that lace altogether is a really confusing choice for underwear. for sex-fashion, ok, sure. do whatever you want. it's not like leather makes any sense in everyday life either.

it just really gets my goat, if you will, that people impose their ideas of sexiness on others in these domineering and potentially disasterous ways.
