i would just like to say that you should both come to outpost tonight after the JATO seder. around 10ish - 1014 fulton between grand and classon.

will be fun! would be, as always, amazing to see you both.

p.s. have you ever had actual lox (as in, not nova - the stuff that is not smoked, but salted?) it's kind of unbelievable. i am not sure if this is what you were referring to when you said lox. since people tend to use the terms interchangeably.

yes, i have had actual lox, though i guess i should research these terms since i find them confusing. if lox must be salted, then is smoked salmon just smoked salmon? and what for gravlax? another beast bc it is sort of pickled?
i find all of these things, if done well, pretty freakin unbelievable.
my mom used to have a smoker and would smoke salmon at home and it was life-changing. also, making your own gravlax, which is totally easy, is amazing.

as per the previous subject - we wanted to come, but we ended up leaving the seder very, very late, and it didn't seem so feasible anymore. next time!

mich. i'm so jealous of how much it seems that you sing. tonight i sang 'modern girl' with some friends [jakey, alison, jen, -nickt.-] and that's about as far as it goes.

i'm so glad today [yesterday?] was your favorite day. anything that starts with tomato-basil is going in the right direction. spring break 2006! yeah!! you're good at making deliciousness a top priority.
