the past month cannot be summed up in short here, and i am not going to attempt to. i might post some things about slovakia some time, but suffice it to say, it may have been one of the most cathartic journeys of my life so far. measured by a day of mostly crying, for a kid who doesn't really cry, was unexpected, beautiful, and still hard to ( Read more... )

i'm in school for nursing pre-reqs. i'm scared of science, but i actually really like it. it's just incredibly scary after years of school where i was taught there were no concrete answers and i was left to be up all night writing endlessly. now it's formulas and tests and bunsen burners, and so far, i'm in love.

so the plan is to take classes for about a year, then start a BSN program fall 2007. it's really exciting. this would be the first time i really feel like i know what i want about almost anything in my life. with four planets and a moon in libra, it's been quite the fight to get here, to a place of any relative certainty. and i'll think it will be a task to stay, but i'm willing to try.

YES!!!

i actually think about the former pretty much everyday. i'm ready to make a date for when you come back. let me know what's good for you.

and talking about chemistry? uh, that would be great. we could study for a test, even! we could even study while our meal is carcinogenically being prepared! (i feel totally fine with that; that wasn't a jab.)
