THE LAST OF MY SUMMER DAYS + MORE

What the...how has half of September passed already?!?!

SEPT 3
I got off work at 6 PM. Nicole and Crystal came to pick me up from work. Crystal drove me home so I could dropoff/grab some stuff/cash and we headed out to Pickle Barrel (at Markville) for dinner!! We proceeded to have an amazing discussion about cheese. LOL! Just kidding. But we really did discuss that for a bit. =P After dinner (we ate SO FAST) we walked around the mall. We went into H&M and I DON'T KNOW WHAT CRYSTAL WAS ON but she was on SUCH an accessory high. She grabbed all these accessories and matched them and strutted (literally) around the store with the stuff on her. SO FUNNY. Pictures were taken. =P

SEPT 6
Such a family day. I went to dim sum with my family and my grandma, then my sister and I got dropped off at STC for a while. I had to go there to pick up the shoes I "ordered" and I was very excited about it!!! Amazingly enough, I don't think I really spent anything that day. Or I just forgot about it already HAHA! Oh boy.

Afterwards, we got a ride home and we had a BBQ dinner with my grandma over at our house. I think she's really happy because ever since she got placed into an old people's home, her sons/daughters (my aunts/uncles/parents) are actually going to visit her and going out with her more often than before! Despite everything though, her brain is clearly deteriorating into a delirious state. 8| We just go along with it. What's that grandma? My dead grandpa is telling me to eat more? Oh sure, okay! (As if I REALLY need to eat anymore than I already do, right guys? LOL!)

SEPT 7
Labour Day! My family went downtown to Coronation Park (I think) and we sat around by the harbour to watch the air show! Technically, it's at CNE but it's planes and the sky is not limited to that tiny little area so we saw quite a bunch of stuff. Fighter planes and such. So cool! And...very very LOUD. =|

It was such a nice day out, but kinda exhausting as well. However, later that night I went out to Cafe Mirage for dessert with the UTSC peeps, or some of them anyway. That was pretty fun and I got to see some people that I haven't seen since summer began (i.e. Bianca, Matt, Leayen, etc.) Fun stuff. =)

Although Labour Day was not the last day of summer for us university kids, it was cutting it pretty close. Unfortunately, I had work from 9-6 PM for the last two days of summer, so that was pretty much it for me. I'm not necessarily unhappy about going back to school though! I get to see everyone again, AND I don't have to work so much! I feel like I'm more free than I was before! The only bad thing is...well...the actual school part. Blegh. =P

SEPT 11
Even though this was only the second day back to school, I was EXHAUSTED already. It didn't help having a 3-hour lecture in the morning at 9 AM. It makes me a bit sad actually, because I get out of class and head towards the Marketplace expecting everyone to be there...but they're not. Nobody is there on Fridays actually. WHAT IS GOING ON?! =( Boooooo.

Anyway, when I got home, I could've easily passed out but instead, Crystal came over and picked me up to go karaoke at Ten23 with Charles, Simon, Arthur, and his girlfriend, Randy (WHO APPARENTLY GOES TO UTSC TOO)!!! I have to say that I am VERY impressed with their singing. Clearly they go do karaoke a lot. Or they just sing to songs a lot. SO MUCH EMOTION AND EMPHASIS. The "UH"s!!! Crystal and I on the other hand...well...you know...or you don't. Let's just keep it that way HAHAHA!!!! JOKES!

After karaoke, we went to have dinner at some chinese place nearby. OMG THEIR CHICKEN. It was GOOD. And filling, but GOOOD!!!!! Mmmm. Bumped into Gordon there and the guys proceeded to go admire his car in the parking lot while Crystal, Randy, and I sat around and chatted I guess? Haha, so random. Anyway, headed home afterwards and that's when I really passed out. What a day.

SEPT 12
After work, I was feeling energized to look around stores for laptops so I went home and told my parents I wanted to. I guess I've been hinting at it long enough because my dad is finally giving into it. I went around with my mom and dad to go to all the computer shops/electronic stores we could think of at the top of our heads so we could go research on what laptop I might get. I guess you can say I want one with good specifications and one that is not too big (13.3" is good; 14 is okay too) so I've kinda settled on this one although colour options don't exist. I'd rather have a working computer anyway. =P

After shopping around, we went home to pick up my sister, and we all headed out to have dinner with my grandma and uncle at Divine Wok. It's kinda funny because their restaurant door was messed up in that it locks people out sometimes. So really, they were losing customers since...the customers can't get through the doors!!! Kinda funny though. The waitresses acted like it wasn't anything big because apparently that door had been messed up for a long time now. It probably also means less work for them to do HAHA!

SEPT 13
I went to Pacific Mall with my co-worker Ophelia, where we tried to find a present for our other co-worker Shu, because she was having a barbeque as a small gathering/celebration of her new baby, Jake! We ended up finding a cute picture frame thing at Smart Maple where they have a spot for a picture every month or something like that up until they're 1? SOMETHING LIKE THAT. Anyway, we headed to my house afterwards and waited for our ride. Then we went there and ate. The baby is so CUTE AND TINY!! I think I've seen enough babies in the past little while though. Enough to not be as fascinated anymore. =P Anyway, it was a pretty fun and filling day. Not to mention, when I got home, I still had time to do my schoolwork!

However, I must say that after a long day, it was really saddening to hear about Bianca's unfortunate news. I feel really bad for not being able to have done anything, but all I could do is be there if she were to ever need someone. =S RIP Mikko. I didn't really get to know you, but you'll still be missed dearly.

YESTERDAY
After class and lab, I went shopping with Blair, Steph, and Jill! We actually sat around school for QUITE a while (3 hours) before we actually got our asses off the seat to Fairview Mall. Thank goodness Jill went home to get her car to drive because I was pretty exhasuted. I don't know why though, but when we got into the mall, I didn't even notice my exhaustion. We spent SO MUCH TIME in Forever 21 (Blair said it was 2 hours - poor guy had to wait around for 3 girls to finish shopping LOL) but I guess it was worth it. I bought a dress that I think every other girl in the city has now (because it's cute and cheap, not to mention I walked by at least 10 girls holding the same dress in the damn store; AND I found out Kelly bought it too but in a different colour HAHA). I also fell in love with a ring. It's so huge and potentially ugly in some other people's eyes, but I loved it. I bought it. It was meant to be. LOL!!

We shopped around elsewhere after that too but we were pretty much tired out after Forever 21. We went and ate in the food court, in which I proceeded to have 2 McDubbles, 1 chocolate sundae, and some of Jill's fries and drinks - all from McDonald's. Mmm MMM! Can you TASTE the fat? =P I needed it though. I really needed it. What a binge THAT was!

TODAY
SO TIRED. Not even funny. It's amazing that I've actually been keeping up with all my work SO FAR, but I'M SO TIRED!!!!!!!!! However, I didn't go home to sleep (yet once again). Instead I went out! Well, I did get to squeeze in a little nap (thank God)!

Becky came and picked me up and we headed to Fairview to join Kelly, Nicole, Vivian, and Veronica for some Spring Rolls goodness in celebration of Kelly's birthday!!!!! Mmmm...food. It was kinda embarrassing because I rushed out the door and didn't bring my ID (aka my PASSPORT) with me to dinner so when I wanted to order a drink...well...the waitress (whom BTW I suspect might be younger than me, which only makes it even more embarrassing) couldn't give it to me. She was doing her job I know, but DAMNIT! Hahahahaha! I later asked her if my ISIC card was okay and I think she kinda knew, so she gave it to me. Oh my goodness, I need my license LOL!

Anyway, after dinner, we all headed back to Kelly's house and we just chilled. We played Pictionary Junior and it was ridiculously easy. It was down to "Tweety" for the last word and IT WAS SO HARD. Who the hell remembers how to draw Tweety?! So I drew a big bird (duck?!) head with a small body in a cage with a cat (Sylvester!) reaching for it. Kelly got it WHOOOHOOO! =) We then watched She's All That, which I haven't watched before. SUCH a typical chick flick but I can imagine that back in 1999, it wasn't AS typical as it is now so I can see how it can be a really good chick flick back in the day. =P Oh man, did I really just say "back in the day"? Why are we old? LOL!!!

Anyway, we didn't get to pop the champagne (because we were all scared to LOL) but nonetheless, HAPPY 20TH BIRTHDAY KELLY!!!

Okay, I'm exhausted and this entry has been yet another LONGASS one. Time to sleep. [Faints onto bed]

Pictures later.
