Not sure how I ended up here, but that is a really good painting! I like the way his eyes look as though he has narrowed them slightly to consider something or someone. Excellent!

Actually, from the point of view of 'abstract representation' this painting could be considered finished. Aside from the eye on the right needing a tiny bit of attention, I like it just like it is.

Yes definitely the eyes need working on ^_^ [I have struggles with eyes all the time.. I would get one looking fine, then the other eye would be all wrong].

Do you ever use a graph or make 'mapping points' when you draw? This really helps with getting the eyes right, or anything else.
