Update, update
I'm home with a migraine today so I finally have time for a quick update. Plus, the pain meds are FINALLY working so I am feeling good enough to be on the confusilator.
Been a pretty busy couple of weeks. I'm getting into the groove with school again. Pre Calculus is really hard. It is like learning a whole new language. I've started staying ( Read more... ) -
Feeling....cranky....stressed....blah
This week is the start of the new quarter for school. I have precalculus at 8 am every morning then I work from 9-5 and have biology on Saturdays. I'm wondering if I should drop biology though. I barely have time for my calculus homework and there's no telling how much biology homework I will have (my first biology class is this Saturday). I ( Read more... ) -
I'm so sad
Today, we had to do one of the most heart wrenching things ever. We had to put our beloved 13 year old lab, Brooke to sleep. It was so extremely painful to deal with. It still is. She had been dealing with health issues and the last few days were pretty bad. It was clear she was unhappy. She had lost complete control of her back legs. Couldn' ( Read more... ) -

Ah, it's been a while. I've been lurking and reading peoples posts, but just haven't had much to say myself.
School is going okay. That is, at least I am passing. :) I've finally braved up a bit and started posting more questions on the forum. I was worried that I would be thought a total nitwit. But, it seems, a few of the other kids/students ( Read more... ) -

Well, I started my first class in 13 years on Tuesday the 29th. We've completed the first "module" of the class which included chapters 1-3 and a test. I struggled a bit with chapter 2 but thought I had a grasp of the work by the end of the chapter. I took the test last night. It is all online and I got the results immediately. Things have been on super-galactic-overdrive the past couple weeks. I've barely had time to breathe. Just going, going, going.

Well, my trip to Grand Junction, Colorado was an event. Had to fly to Phoenix and then transfer to a little prop plane to fly to Grand Junction. Both flights weren't the best i've ever had.
