Jensen downed the shot, giving Jared a loopy grin as he slammed the glass down on the table.
“There you go, Jenny,” Jared said leaning over to wrap an arm around his shoulder. “I’m going to get you loose one way or another.”
“Your mind is back in the gutter,” Jen said but couldn’t help but leaning towards him.
“Can’t help it, babe, you’re too fucking hot for me not to think dirty,” Jared smirked at him, giving his shoulder a squeeze before leaning over to lick his ear.
Gerard’s was mostly empty on the Sunday night, but Jared was still glad that he was able to get the table in the back where they could hide. He couldn’t keep his hands off Jensen. And even though the other man had tried to keep him at an arms length since they first started working together, Jared knew from the first moment that he set eyes on his tight body that he wasn’t going to be able to control himself for long.
“Have another drink,” Jared said, pouring another shot of Jagermeister.
“Only if you have one too,” Jensen said using a shaky hand to pick up the glass.
Jared was already feeling the effects of the two previous shots, but he didn’t care as long as he had Jensen next to him.
When last call was made, Jensen had planned to call a taxi, but Jared had a different idea.
“Come on,” Jared pleaded. “Why are you going to take a cab out to your apartment when you could sleep on the extra bed in the room I booked.”
“Two queens?” Jensen joked, his green eyes shining like glass.
“Ha ha, Dean,” Jared teased him. “Come on, we could play on the Playstation… or watch a porno.”
Green eyes turned to stare up at him. “Jared, I don’t think… it’s not a good idea. Hanging out and getting drunk is one thing, but… you know… don’t dip your ink in the company pen.”
“Its pen in the ink… and trust me I really want to dip my pen.” Jared said laughing as Jensen made a face at him.
“Look,” the tall man said seriously as he leaned towards him. “I really like you. I mean I really, really like you! This is what I want, and if its what you want than who cares.”
“I don’t know… Sandy for one, maybe Eric for another.”
“They don’t need to know. And just so you know, Sandy knows that I don’t just like girls,” Jared replied pulling him even closer. “And what we do off the clock is our business, not Eric’s or McG and Kim’s, it’s our own business.”
“I don’t want to be someone’s dirty little secret again,” Jensen said trying to pull away, but the last shot was starting to take its tool and he tipped to the side and started to slide off the stool.
Jared hauled him back up with one arm and pinned Jensen against him.
“It’s just playing around, Jen,” he replied kissing him on the cheek. “No need to be anyone’s secret. Come on, you know you want to. We’ll grab some drinks out of the mini bar and put on a movie.”
Jensen knew he should say ‘no’, and, if he hadn’t been three sheets to the wind, he would. “Alright.”
Jared couldn’t help but smile as he took Jensen’s hand and pulled him out of his seat and to the nearly empty lobby of the hotel. The wait at the elevator was only made bearable by the comfortable feel of Jensen leaning ever so slightly against him. He willed the elevator to move faster. With a tug on his hand, he pulled Jensen into the elevator and pressed the button for top floor.
