After living with both inside cats and an inside dog for the first - and hopefully last time - I found it quite funny.

My room mate had a Jack Russell for a short time. Sweet dog, but HYPER. I am really not a dog person. Then my room mate got called out of town on a family emergency and left me with the dog. I was not sure we were both going to survive

Max, one of my cats, really liked the dog though.

oh those Jack Russells can definitely be hyper. i'm surprised your cat would like him. they don't tend to like the super-happy-hyper dogs :)

THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THE CARD! So sweet of you. :) Due to my birthday being tucked in between Christmas and New Year's, it is easy to overlook.

It was a very nice birthday weekend. Family and friends spoiled me. :)

As for my cat, Max, he is so laid back and unruffled, he would actually play with the dog. And Max is a big boy, coming in at 14 pounds. He weighs almost as much as the dog did.

So glad to see you pop into LJ! I am trying to do better about it myself. :)
