Yes yes, I know... It sounds like some amazing mini-vibrator or something... But no, not this one. This is a mini-blender used for spices, nuts, coffee...etc. And can (and is) often used to make small portions of babyfood. I'm quite familiar w/ the infomercial. :-)

I know all the products that get advertised aren't as awesome as they look. But for many, I think, "Well, why *aren't* they as awesome as they appear?" It's good to know that this one lives up to its billing. :-)

Well, honestly I don't boil much... I just do for the baby foods cuz babies like 'bland' and it's an easy/fast cooking method that reliably leaves the food item in a texture that's good for blending into a paste...
