Week 8 brought top us the story of “The Death of Ivan Ilych”, this story brings to us many emotions, and opinions as well, I think that it can also spark a very interesting debate as well. is life always a choice? it might be an inevitable reality if you are lying on your death bed to not choose life...

I think of the Ivan Ilych story in terms of his change, only moments before death. I remember reading that if you can die without fear, you have lived a good life. this is interesting, because if we are full of regret and want to hold onto life so badly, we must have not done something that we desperately wanted to.

So in a sense, Choose Life is a great way to think about it. Illych was more occupied by greed, stagnation and wealth, and neglected the truly important things, realising this, unfortunately, too late.
