Hey guys--

Did anyone read the early review of the DH movie? (DH is the last Harry Potter movie, for the cretins who didn't guess that.) Didn't it seem a little, well...

... H/H-ey? Okay, I'm actually fine with the idea that Ron and Hermione don't dance anymore, 'cause, hey--I'm all about adding to the drama and angst. (Even though, in the book, it was a great part of his character's growth: that he finally decided that he wasn't going to mess around anymore. This time, he'd ask her to dance.) But having their relationship still be sort of in conflict at the beginning of the film makes sense... so that their relationship can develop over the movie.

But will it develop believably? I'm just worried that they'll angst it up so much that the character of Ron won't get the sort of dignity he shows us he's gained in DH. We want, by the end of the second film, for it to seem like he deserves Hermione.

And, really, guys, an H/H dance scene instead? Isn't that useless romantic development for a pairing that can't get together? Wasted air time? Overkill?

I don't think they'll keep that H/G scene in Ginny's bedroom, either, which is too bad, since it's the scene where I really started to get behind that pairing.
