Alex bruised my arm, so I hit him with my car. My conscience doesn't trouble me.

Kell and I went to see Angie Aparo last Thursday, and I really thoroughly enjoyed it, even if the bass was crazy high. It's not something I would normally do, and I totally like that. I stepped ever-so-slightly out of my element and now I've got some great new music. ( Read more... )

Angie Aparo is the man. Ya know he's the one that wrote (and originally recorded) the song "Cry" that Faith Hill covered and made much money from. "Hush" is definitely one of my favorites, but you should try to locate his cover of "Rocket Man." Mos def.

Yeah, Kell used to say detrimental things about Faith Hill for said cover...but it's a compliment, isn't it, to re-record someone else's song?

Have heard his "Rocket Man" cover live...I'll have to listen to the recorded version later. It's available on his site, I think. :)
