I don't think I have ever went from frustrated to pleased to frustrated so quickly before. All while screaming 'LIES DONAGHY, LIES' in my head. I love how the episode led to such a perfect piece for the prompt.

Gentleman's Intermission really hit that 'little brother' line too hard which annoyed me slightly and then of course the show goes schizo and lets Liz outrightly booty-flirt with him the following week. WHAT ARE YOU TRYING TO TELL US SHOW./confused

Your roller coaster of emotions pleases me! (Though I am sorry for the frustration, a little.) I weirdly enjoy writing them being attracted to each other/explaining it away. I appreciate the possibility of denial, I think, in general and as a way to explain why they're not UST-y so much anymore.

Yeah, it is kind of weird for this episode to come after that one. I did have a moment, when he was checking her out, where I thought, "You're not supposed to look at your brother's ass, Jack!" But, well, if they're not going to get together, at least they're letting him appreciate her butt, if only temporarily.

I'll admit I took a lot of enjoyment from using that term to describe Liz these last few days. I like to believe that show wanted me to do so as much as Jack was enjoying the view.
